You have the freedom to choose from our preferred vendor list. Additional vendors must be approved by the venue manager. Full-service catering, food trucks, barbecue trucks, and bar carts are permitted. All vendors must be licensed and insured. We require copies of appropriate insurance a week prior to the date of the event.

Yes, a professional wedding planner or day-of coordinator is required to host a wedding on our property. We are happy to provide you with excellent recommendations if you don’t have a planner.

Our outdoor venue is ideal for weddings from mid-April through the first week of November.
Villa de Lucca falls within the County of San Luis Obispo and, therefore, must abide by
the sound ordinance, which requires all amplified sound/microphoned outdoor music to cease at 10 pm. We recommend using a silent disco after 9 pm as a courtesy to our neighbors and
to maintain the quietude that makes our canyon so beautiful.
On-site parking is available for the wedding party and vendors. All other guests will need to access the property via shuttle service. We have multiple recommendations for shuttle services that will safely transport your friends and family from local hotels to and from the venue.
No, unlike other venues we include our cleaning fees, dumpster fees, and any other miscellaneous fees in your package price so there are no surprise costs.
Yes, you are welcome to have your welcome party, rehearsal dinner, and day-after wedding mimosa brunch on our property at no extra cost!

In 2006, the owner of Villa de Lucca rode to Templeton on his motorcycle and fell in love with the views and peaceful scenery of this particular property. He purchased the ten-acre plot with only the foundation poured and said, “Whatever is being built on this foundation, I want to live in it,” which he happily did. Fast-forward to 2017 when he decided to open up the estate for others to enjoy and make memories in, and since then has hosted numerous weekend getaways, joyous weddings, and private events.
